Mr Stig Insulán, founder and owner of SI TECH, patented the semi-automatic exhaust valve in 1971. This paved the way for the variable volume drysuit diving concept. The “Original” exhaust valve, an up-stream regulator and a High Pressure Reducer Valve, originally designed for mine clearance diving were early innovations.

 

During the last decade SI TECH has launched various systems for the attachment and/or exchange of wrist and neck seals, hoods, boots and dry gloves. The products are designed to add comfort and flexibility to the drysuit whether factory fitted or added later by the diver. The Quick Dry Glove System is made up of a Quick Cuff or a Quick Clamp in combination with Quick Glove Rings. Recent introductions such as the Glove Lock, Boot Connection and now the NeckTite, a system that will allow a wide range of neck seal options, will further enhance drysuit repair and maintenance.

 

We are renowned as the manufacturer of the industry standard in drysuit valves. Aside from supplying valves and inflator hoses to the most prestigious drysuit brands, we also manufacture a wide range of connectors, converters, couplings and adapters to suit any purpose. As we have always adapted our products to our customer requirements we have an extensive range of optional features on our valves and hoses. We can modify standard products to meet individual customer requirements for special applications, or use standard components to make a new product for a special application. Low magnetic signature (NON MAG/Low Mute) is an option for most products.
